Valentine's chocolates with Marni designs are here. Bronze chocolates born out of an accident

Jan 24, 2014

MARNI will release a limited-edition Valentine's Day chocolate box (1,995 yen). Each box contains six chocolates and includes four different flavors. In addition to the classic milk white, rose, and raspberry flavors, the lineup also includes "blonde chocolate," a product of a fortuitous accident: white chocolate left in the oven during production turned blonde after 10 hours. Each chocolate is printed with a design from MARNI's Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The chocolate combinations vary by retailer. Prior to nationwide release, the box will be available at Isetan Shinjuku, Isetan Shinjuku Men's, Ginza Mitsukoshi, and Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi on January 29th. It will then be available at Nagoya Mitsukoshi, Hankyu Umeda Main Store, Hankyu Men's Osaka, Hankyu Men's Tokyo, Matsuya Ginza, Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C., Kyoto Daimaru, Shinsaibashi Daimaru, Kobe Daimaru, and Fukuoka Iwataya from February 5th. Both offers will run until February 14th.
