PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE is releasing a new series in collaboration with illustrator Terry Johnson. Terry is a veteran illustrator known as the original "Heta-uma" (good at being bad at something). He collaborated with ISSEY MIYAKE in 1972. Starting this month, PLEATS PLEASE will be selling the collection, including a reproduction of the 1972 "COMBAT" collection, at the brand's stores over a three-month period. The collection includes dresses, tunics, pants, bags, and more featuring patterns such as "THE SHOUTMAN" and "TERRY FREE SPECIAL." A one-month advance sale featuring all items from the series will be held at the ISSEY MIYAKE INC. complex, El Tobtep ISSEY MIYAKE Ginza, starting on the 16th. Additionally, he will be setting up an installation called "Terry's Secret Holes," which will feature "holes" in the windows and on the floor that allow visitors to peer into the world of Terry's work.
