Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings will hold a photography-themed event titled "Mother's Day is Family Photo Day" at its Isetan Shinjuku, Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, and Mitsukoshi Ginza stores.
Mitsukoshi will set up photo spots within the stores. At the Nihonbashi main store, a limited-time photo spot will be open from May 3rd to 12th, where you can take photos with the lion statue, Mitsukoshi's symbol, and the Tennyo statue in the central hall as a backdrop. At the lion statue venue, a free photo printing service will be available on the spot (up to two photos per group).
At the Ginza store, the first-floor show window on Ginza Street will be opened as a photo space. The space will be transformed into a giant photo frame. You can choose your favorite card from five original placards, such as "Thank you always" and "I love you," and take a photo. The event will run for six days from May 3rd to 6th, 11th, and 12th (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM each day, canceled in the event of rain).

Isetan Shinjuku Re-Style is collaborating with MUVEIL, whose designer is Michiko Nakayama, to hold a Mother's Day event called "MEMORY WITH MOM" on May 11th and 12th. Professional photographer Sachiko Fujiwara will capture everyday scenes that you wouldn't be able to capture yourself, such as mothers and daughters enjoying shopping. The photos will be presented to mothers in an original album made by MUVEIL just for this day. Advance reservations are required (reservations begin on May 3rd) and will end once capacity is reached. The price is 15,750 yen.
