Isetan Shinjuku will be hosting "Y's POP-UP SHOP" for a limited time from December 1st to 7th at the Promotion section on the first floor of the Main Building. At the venue, we will be offering two types of coat designs made from a special fabric made by hand-disassembling vintage Aran knitwear and needle-punching wool gauze. We will also be introducing miscellaneous items perfect for the upcoming winter season, such as wintery quilted bags, before the rest of the country.


Production Scene


The process of repeatedly fitting together disassembled knitwear like a puzzle results in a unique fabric with a distinctive texture that is unlike any other. Crafted through Wise's pattern-making, this is a special piece. The crisp fabric is impressive, and the unique silhouette is easy to wear, with three-dimensional features such as the flare-out sleeves. Using different fabrics for the facing, under-collar, pockets, etc. creates a flat surface that further accentuates the form. Minimalist and rigid elements give the item a style with a strong handcrafted nuance.
