The 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection of dress brand Tadashi Shoji was unveiled at New York Fashion Week. The designer is Los Angeles-based designer Tadashi Shoji.

The theme was "The Tale of the Nobility of Russia's Romanov Dynasty," and the collection featured gorgeous dresses inspired by traditional Russian clothing and Russian Orthodox priestly attire. Elements like Russian folk prints and geometric embroidery were incorporated throughout.

Dynamic gathers for volume, roomy backs, and cocoon silhouettes showcased the collection's architectural modeling. Bust darts were distributed around the waist and centerline, creating a design detail.

The material was a mix of dressy textiles like tulle and lace with neoprene, the same material used in wetsuits, pursuing elegance and ease of wear.
