Blue Bottle Coffee Japan, LLC, will launch the "Karimoku x Blue Bottle Coffee Morning Collection" in collaboration with Karimoku Furniture on December 1, 2021.

Blue Bottle Coffee is committed to providing coffee accessories that can be used as both tools for enjoying delicious coffee at home and as interior décor. In collaboration with Karimoku Furniture, we are releasing three items that are not only easy to use but also make wonderful accents for your home décor.
Karimoku Furniture, one of Japan's leading wooden furniture manufacturers, combines advanced mechanical technology with artisanal craftsmanship. They have also produced furniture for some Blue Bottle Coffee cafes, where the designs, feel, and comfort have been highly praised. This is the first time we've collaborated on a product other than furniture, and we've asked them to design three items that will add a touch of color to your room or kitchen, making you look forward to waking up and brewing coffee in the morning.

The simple and honest design, inspired by Blue Bottle Coffee cafes, and the rustic, soft curves of the wood not only add warmth to your room, but also make this sustainable collection, crafted from offcuts from furniture making and short pieces of lumber that are difficult to use. This collection will enrich your daily coffee time and its long-lasting design makes it the perfect holiday gift for a loved one. Available from December 1st at select Blue Bottle Coffee cafes*, the official Blue Bottle Coffee online store, and pop-up stores.
*Available at the Kiyosumi Shirakawa Flagship Cafe, Shibuya Cafe, Ginza Cafe, Minato Mirai Cafe, Kyoto Cafe, Umeda Chayamachi Cafe, and Kobe Cafe.

About Karimoku Furniture

In 1940, Shohei Kato founded a woodworking shop in Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture. The company operated a wood product processing business, and using the skills it developed there, it became a furniture manufacturer that began selling its own wooden furniture in the 1960s. "If we're going to use 100-year-old wood, we want to create furniture worthy of its rings," is our motto. We create furniture with a "high-tech & high-touch" approach that combines advanced machine processing with artisanal skill. Our furniture also meets the Japan Furniture Industry Promotion Association's domestically produced furniture certification standards for safety, security, and environmental friendliness.
