
Takeshi Kitazawa and Emiko Sato, designers of "DRESSEDUNDRESSED," have been awarded the 5th DHL Award.
The DHL Award recognizes young designers from brands participating in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO who are expected to make a name for themselves on the global stage. "DRESSEDUNDRESSED" was recognized for its creative designs based on the concept of integrating duality.
The award ceremony was held after the brand's 14 Spring/Summer collection show on October 15th. Kitazawa and Sato commented, "We are seeing an increasing number of opportunities to present our collections and work overseas. We hope to use this award as an opportunity to further expand our activities overseas." The two received a commemorative plaque and a DHL overseas shipping gift certificate worth 500,000 yen. Previous recipients of the award include Makoto Ono of "Motonari Ono," Yu Amano of "A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT," Atsushi Nakajima of "ATSUSHI NAKASHIMA," and Masanori Morikawa of "CHRISTIAN DADA."
