SOMARTA and Motonari Ono from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO have been confirmed to participate in Jakarta Fashion Week, which will be held from October 19th to 25th.

The show will be held at the Senayan City shopping mall in Jakarta from 1pm on the 22nd, and will be directed by Kaneko Shigetaka.

Jakarta Fashion Week started in 2008, and with Indonesia's population growth and increase in the wealthy in recent years, fashion has become increasingly luxurious, with local designers as well as Thai designers participating. It has also been decided that a recommended designer from Jakarta Fashion Week will participate in MBFW Tokyo, which will be held in March next year.
