■The 6th Tokyo Cosmetic Collection was held. Hopes are high for bloggers' communication skills, with global expansion in the cards.
■Isetan Mirror exhibits at Tokyo Cosmetic Collection for the first time.
■Creating beauty through lenses, the skin diagnosis app "Beautecam" turns your home into a cosmetics counter.
I went to the Tokyo Cosmetic Collection, held on December 15th. 1,000 bloggers were invited, and only half of them, 500, were members of the press. It was a glamorous event, but it made me think about the changes in the media and methods of corporate promotion, and as a member of the press, I left with mixed emotions.
■Japan's first outdoor holographic event was held, filling Odaiba with the scent of "Hair Glance."
Holographic art is something I'm personally interested in right now. It's truly a sci-fi world on the horizon. It's amazing how it can be rendered in real time! I'd love to meet Manabe Daito, who directs Perfume's videos.
