Roppongi Hills Observatory, Tokyo City View, will be hosting an exhibition of reproductions of original artwork from the anime series "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" starting on the 19th. Over 800 items will be on display, including line drawings and storyboards from both the first and second parts of the film. The exhibition will include famous scenes from the opening and closing credits, transformation scenes featuring five characters, including protagonist Madoka Kaname, an introduction to the villainous witches, visuals from the film from around the world, and information about the film due for release at the end of the month. Exclusively at the Tokyo venue, a two-meter-tall "Ultimate Madoka" figurine and a life-size Homura Akemi figurine will be on alternate display. There will also be a photo booth (500 yen each) where you can take photos immersed in the world of the series. The shop will be selling commemorative items created for this event, such as a clear file featuring the main characters (350 yen), chocolates in slide tins (5 varieties, 360 yen each), and acrylic key chains (5 varieties, 525 yen each) featuring the Soul Gem, an item from the series. The limited-time cafe will also offer character-themed menu items such as "Madoka Tart and Kyubey Anman" (980 yen) and "Sweets Witch Curry" (980 yen). "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" is a popular anime series that aired on television in 2011. A completely new film with a new ending, "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion," will be released on the 26th of this month. The reproduction original art exhibition will travel to five cities across Japan, starting in Tokyo, followed by Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Fukuoka.
