The Body Shop launches body and face sorbet to cool and moisturize summer skin

Apr 1, 2014

THE BODY SHOP will release two sorbet-like products with a cooling sensation on May 30th.

For the face, the E Series, a skincare line that aims to achieve "plump, soft, and healthy-looking skin," is introducing Aqua Boost Sorbet E (50ml/2,800 yen), a new product that can be used instead of cream. The tiny moisture spheres, known as "Aquaspheres," act like water reservoirs, charge the skin with moisture while maintaining a refreshing, smooth texture. Soya oil, shea butter, and wheat germ oil, sourced from Brazil through Community Fair Trade, also moisturize the skin. It also contains mineral powder that absorbs sebum and leaves the skin matte.

The body lotion, Body Sorbet (200ml/1,800 yen), will be available only until October 2nd. The cream has a crisp, sorbet-like texture and is formulated with Guatemalan aloe, honey, and sesame oil to moisturize and condition the skin. It comes in five scents: mango, satsuma (mandarin orange), strawberry, pink grapefruit, and floral moringa.
