BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE opened a pop-up shop called "Lumiere" on April 1st in the handbag promotion space on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store. It will be on sale until the 8th.
The event will feature the "Prism Rainbow" series, which was released in March 2013 and immediately sold out. These refreshing items change color depending on the angle you look at them. Available in two colors, bright and dark, the items include a tote bag (40,000 yen) that can easily fit A4 size documents, a shoulder bag (48,000 yen), and a clutch (25,000 yen).
Exclusive to the event, a limited number of "Lucent Lumiere" tote bags (43,000 yen) with a six-color print inspired by the light of a rainbow will be available.

In addition, many new April products will be on display, including the ball-shaped "Planet" series with its matte texture, the metallic "Prism" series, and the "Lucent" series with its spring-like colors such as yellow and orange. The venue fixtures have also been specially designed with Lumiere in mind.
