H&M will release new items from its two collection lines, "Conscious Exclusive" and "Conscious," which propose sustainable fashion, on April 10th.
This time, materials have been selected with even greater awareness of sustainability, and for the first time, organic leather and organic silk from Swedish leather manufacturer "Tarnsjo" have been used. The brand has also introduced the "CleverCare" label, which provides information on environmentally friendly clothing care methods.
Conscious Exclusive, which mainly offers party wear made from high-quality materials, was created in collaboration with "Ever Manifesto," a think tank that works to promote sustainable fashion and design. It is characterized by delicate detailed designs inspired by flamenco and bohemian style. The collection will be available at H&M's Shibuya and Shinsaibashi stores in Japan, and some items will also be sold by campaign model Amber Valletta's eco-project, Master & Muse.
Key conscious items include a bright orange kaftan made from Tencel and polyamide, and a hand-painted zebra print kaftan. The collection will be available at all H&M stores both in Japan and overseas.
