Prada launches pump customization service in Nagoya, Kobe, Osaka, and Ginza

Apr 3, 2014

Prada is offering a limited-time "Made to Order" service for pumps. This service allows customers to customize Prada's popular classic shoes. It will be available from April 4th to 6th at the Prada Nagoya store, from April 11th to 13th at the Prada Kobe store, from April 18th to 20th at the Prada Osaka Shinsaibashi store, and from April 25th to 27th at the Prada Ginza store. The nine models, centered around simple basic pumps, include open-toe, platform, and slingback styles. Customers can also choose the heel height depending on the style. Customers can choose from five materials: suede, silk satin, and Prada's traditional Saffiano calf leather with a patent finish, patent leather, or goat leather. Depending on the material, there are between nine and 27 colors available. Customers can also choose the outsole color, from black and pink to blue (depending on the model), and add their own initials below the Prada logo on the outsole.

It takes about 3 months for the product to be completed after ordering. There is a 20% charge on the price of the ready-made product.
