NikeLab (NIKEAB) will release the NIKELAB ACG SUMMER 2017 collection, designed with Acronym founder Errolson Hugh, on May 18th.

The collection reflects Hugh's strong belief that function should not compromise beauty. This time, the collection is designed for everyday wear, withstands light rain and sudden downpours, and features accents of lightweight, water-repellent materials, bold branding, cable ports, and magnetic fastenings.

The "NIKELAB ACG.07.KMTR Men's Shoe" (¥22,000), designed for urban commuters, is inspired by the soles of previous ACG footwear and the organic urban landscape. The upper features a four-way stretch, water-resistant fabric, providing a low-profile design while protecting the foot. A strap that wraps around the arch of the upper and magnetic fastenings makes it easy to put on, and a magnetic heel closure with a toggle ensures a secure fit. Additionally, an injection-molded Phylon midsole and rubber outsole provide comfort and traction.

The "NIKELAB ACG Poncho" (¥30,000) is made of three-layer, water-resistant ripstop fabric and features a DWR (durable water repellent) coating, a hood with reinforced edges for adjustable fit, and a magnetic side closure. It also features a dual-zippered kangaroo pocket inside and a carrying pouch. Other items in the lineup include a men's tank top, men's short-sleeve tank top, shirt jacket, pullover hoodie, fleece shorts, cargo shorts, cargo pants, bucket cap, and 3-in-1 cap.
