Starting June 1st, Nike will begin selling the Cortez Anniversary Pack, which features three models in five colors (priced from 9,720 yen to 11,880 yen including tax) to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Nike Cortez.

The Nike Cortez, Nike's first shoe to feature visible technology, has become a pop culture icon. In addition to the Anniversary Pack, the Nike Cortez Premium iD (priced at 14,640 yen including tax) will also be available, available in two colors: indigo and canvas, and with a special 45th anniversary logo on the heel.

The Cortez Anniversary Pack will be available on NIKE.COM, at Nike retail stores and select Nike retailers, while the Nike Cortez Premium iD will be available on NIKE.COM until June 26th.

In addition, to commemorate the shoe's 45th anniversary, a "Cortez Coordination Contest" campaign will be held with the theme "Cortez. Driven to Me." In this campaign, participants will be invited to take a photo of their entire outfit incorporating Nike Cortez shoes and post it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtags "#CortezCoord" and "#Cortez" to be entered to be featured on a special campaign page on NIKE.COM. One grand prize winner will have their outfit coordinated with Cortez outfits and a commemorative photo taken by a professional stylist, and two runner-up winners will receive a NIKE gift card worth 20,000 yen.
