Cartier opens flagship store in Ginza! Rie Miyazawa appears on stage wearing high-end jewelry

Sep 28, 2016

On September 28th, Cartier opened its Japan flagship store, the Cartier Ginza Boutique (2-6-12 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), in Ginza, Tokyo. The boutique was designed by Bruno Moinart, who has worked on the interiors of boutiques around the world. The modern design incorporates architectural and decorative elements found in the private residences of the French upper class and traditional hospitality, with a touch of Japanese culture woven throughout. The store is comprised of four floors, from the basement to the third floor. The first floor is a hall of fame for high jewelry, the second floor is the Louis Cartier Salon, reminiscent of a private residence of the French upper class, the third floor is a feminine and tranquil diamond floor inspired by Japanese folding screens, and the basement floor is home to a collection of leather goods, writing instruments, and other items perfect for gifts.

In addition, prior to the boutique's opening, an opening ceremony was held on September 26th, with actress Rie Miyazawa appearing as a special guest wearing Cartier high jewelry.
