Peter Barakan's LIVEMAGIC!, a music festival curated by Peter Barakan, will be held at The Garden Hall/The Garden Room in Ebisu on October 25th and 26th. Barakan first visited Japan 40 years ago on July 1, 1974. This event marks his first music festival curated by a longtime veteran of the Japanese music industry. A total of 15 domestic and international artists will perform over the two days, recreating the music program "The Hoppers MTV," which Barakan hosted from April 1984 to September 1987. There will also be a screening of the film "Stop Making Sense/Talking Heads." Fashion Headline will be randomly selecting five groups of ten people to attend this event (two-day pass) from our email newsletter subscribers. The application deadline is noon on September 21st. Winners will be notified by email on September 22nd.
