Park Hae-jin, originally from South Korea and based in Melbourne and London, has released his debut album, "Before I Die."

Park Hae-jin is a rapper who sometimes raps, and a singer who sometimes sings with a languid yet endearing voice. He also DJs and creates his own tracks. His career has steadily progressed, with collaborations with artists like Blood Orange and Nosaj Thing, and his debut album comes amidst this. He has also released the music video for the lead single, "Let's Sing Let's Dance," directed by Kevin Lombardo.

The album features her signature house music and techno, as well as tracks with strong hip-hop and R&B influences, offering a different appeal from the numerous dance floor-friendly releases she has produced to date. While the album reflects her own path, it also embraces a diverse range of genres, typical of Gen Z, and does not settle for a single style. While a diverse musical approach can easily create a distracting impression, this album achieves a sense of unity by incorporating words that convey emotional nuances in a simple yet personal way. This autobiographical pop, which evokes loneliness, is a must-listen.
