Hermès opened its second mobile boutique (mobile store) in the women's shoe department on the second floor of the main building at Isetan Shinjuku. It offers a wide selection of Pierre Hardy shoes, primarily from the 2014-15 autumn/winter collection. A standout item is the boots (363,000 yen) featuring a classic pattern, apparently printed using the same technique as Hermès scarves. The timeless silk scarf design is combined with high-quality smooth leather to create a pair that is emblematic of the house. According to the store, the best-selling items are the various boots. Models with Kelly hardware and warm autumn colors have been attracting endless attention since day one. Shoes with the trendy, voluminous mink fur are also a must-have item to get your hands on now. High-top sneakers, flats, and other items perfect for year-round wear are also available.
"It's rare to see so many (Hermès) shoes all in one place. We hope you enjoy this special space that you can only see now," said a shop staff member. The boutique in the women's shoe department will be open for a limited time until September 30th.
During the renovation of the Hermès boutique on the first floor of the store, pop-up stores of the maison will appear throughout Isetan Shinjuku. The first store to open is a shop featuring carrés (scarves) on The Stage #2 on the second floor of the main building. The reopening of the first floor boutique is scheduled for November 1st.
