Sep 4, 2014

Isetan Mitsukoshi's original bag brand, AMMIMAJUS, has announced a collaboration model for its 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection. The two people chosen for this collaboration were stylist Ikuko Jibiki and designer Mieko Sahara. Jibiki, who has appeared in fashion magazines such as "eclat" and "croissant" as well as on television programs, created three styles suited to sophisticated women, based on the concept of "a bag that lifts your spirits just by holding it," in collaboration with a Japanese factory long trusted by Isetan Shinjuku. The three-way Boston bag (¥39,000) that can be used as a tote or shoulder bag, the Boston bag (¥34,000) that can also be used as a sub-bag for days when you're carrying a lot of luggage, and the backpack (¥40,000) that can be used as the centerpiece of an outfit all feature beautiful colors. Sahara, on the other hand, is also a designer for Isetan Mitsukoshi's original shoe brand, Number 21. The collection includes a backpack (44,000 yen) made from soft yellow leather with navy tape for a playful touch, a handbag with an impressive rounded shape (38,000 yen), and a stylish tote bag (52,000 yen) in the trendy colors of white and black.

The private brand does not have a fixed brand image, but is always open to new endeavors. They hope to continue working closely with trusted factories to produce even better products.

Collaboration products between Anmimayus and Ikuko Jibiki and Mieko Sahara will go on sale from September 10th. All will be sold exclusively at Isetan Mitsukoshi.
