New "Enjoy Printing" Brand "Man Nine" Debuts at Shinjuku Isetan Clover

Sep 11, 2014

A new brand debuted on September 10th at the Clover Shop on the third floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. It's called "mannine," and was founded by designer Manri Kishimoto, who has been involved in textile design in Europe for seven years. Manri describes mannine as "a brand where prints take center stage. Clothes that let you enjoy prints." While the clothing itself features standard items and patterns, the textiles add a touch of individuality and playfulness. The lineup includes eight dresses with soft silhouettes (priced from 27,000 to 33,000 yen), two autumn coats, two down jackets, and other items perfect for fall and winter styling. One-of-a-kind pieces crafted with carefully selected materials and silhouettes will also be available. The lineup consists of four items: a silk coat (244,800 yen), a silk dress (158,000 yen), a skirt (92,500 yen), and a shirt (52,500 yen). All are highly sensitive and of high quality.

To commemorate the brand's debut, a fashion consultation will be held by stylist Aizawa Itsuki. (September 13th and 27th, from 11am to 6pm each day) On the day, Aizawa will suggest outfits and a professional photographer will provide a photo shoot (5,400 yen). Reservations are now being accepted. Each day is limited to five people, and the consultation will take approximately one hour per person.
