A solo exhibition by artist Stereotenis, who samples the intensity of the 80s, will be held at Gallery VOILLD in Nakameguro.

Feb 4, 2016

Graphic artist and illustrator STEREOTENNIS' solo exhibition "WHAT EVER" will be held at Gallery VOILLD in Nakameguro, Tokyo, from February 5th to 28th.

STEREOTENNIS is an artist whose creative practice utilizes a variety of media, including graphic art, illustration, textile design, photo direction, and video expression. Building on the 1980s, a period that continues to have a profound impact on the present, he creates unique works by updating and incorporating them into the modern era.

This solo exhibition will focus on works that reexamine STEREOTENNIS's traditional concepts and explore new techniques. Approximately 20 new works, including posters, photo-painted, and screen-printed flat pieces, will be on display, inspired by the sense of freedom and diverse values he felt during visits to Tokyo, where he is based, as well as New York, India, and Hong Kong.
