Louis Vuitton has released the LV Fall Capsule Collection by Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh.
This collection is designed for the urban man who appreciates nonchalant chic and a subtle twist on formal silhouettes. The design is inspired by a greeting card painted by Gaston-Louis Vuitton in 1914. The contrast of expressionist floral bouquets against a checkerboard background is reminiscent of the artist's calligraphy on cards.
The tie-dye pattern, which appeared in Virgil Abloh's first collection, is reinterpreted on jackets and shirts. The collection also features 3D-printed leather jackets, hoodies, cargo pants, and Bermuda shorts. Additionally, the collection features a variety of urban shoes and accessories, including the Keepall Bandouliere, which features a checkerboard design.
The motifs featured in the designs are inspired by the Maison's archives, and come in colors such as charcoal gray, camel, and lime.
