The women-only spring party "Beauty and Flower Play 2016" will be held at Shiseido Hanatsubaki Hall in Ginza, Tokyo, on March 19th. The theme for this third event is "ephemerality." Domestic and internationally renowned floral designer Massa Nakagawa and others will express the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms through flower arrangements and live performances. Artist Takahiro Matsuo created an interactive light installation depicting a stream of flowing cherry blossom petals and a photo spot featuring a flurry of falling cherry blossom petals. Photographer Yuji Hamada and video artist Nobue Kitakami will use the latest AR technology to create a new experience that evokes the transience of cherry blossoms. There will also be a touch-up corner with hair and makeup artists, and a corner where you can try out cosmetics released on March 21st early. There will also be a quiz on UV protection, which becomes a major focus around the time of cherry blossom blooming. Shiseido Parlour will also be offering cocktails and flavored teas perfect for cherry blossom viewing, as well as gorgeous-looking sweets and finger foods.

Each session has a capacity of 150 people. The venue will be open to the public for one day only, on March 18th, the day before the event, and anyone will be able to view the cherry blossom artwork for free.
