For Fall/Winter 2021, Givenchy Creative Director Matthew M. Williams presents a new iteration of his futuristic Cutout handbag.
Characterized by its bold, angular lines, the Cutout bag elevates Givenchy's heritage while pushing it into new territory. While retaining its iconic V-shape, this season's release sees the arrival of a padded lambskin version inspired by vintage car seats, further reinforcing the Maison's direction. Debuting on the Fall/Winter 2021 runway, this new iteration is realized through a complex process using high-frequency technology, resulting in a refined and fresh look. The Cutout bag is adorned with a silver-finish G-cube chain, the iconic hardware developed by Matthew M. Williams for Givenchy. Also available for the first time is a longer G-cube chain for crossbody wear (sold separately). It can be used with the Cutout and other Givenchy bags, expanding the variety of ways you can carry it. The padded leather Cutout is available in mini and small sizes. Available in matte black lambskin, lilac patent leather, and smooth box leather with a subtle sheen (black chestnut). The new Cutout bags will be available in Givenchy stores and the official online store from September 2021. (The chestnut color is scheduled for release in mid-October.)
Price range: Mini size 218,900 yen, small size 253,000 yen (tax included)
