Emmanuel Ginzberge appointed new CEO of Alexander McQueen from YSL

Kering announced that Emmanuel Gintzberger has been appointed CEO of Alexander McQueen, effective May 9th. Emmanuel Gintzberger, a 42-year-old French national, joined Danone in 1997 and worked as a marketing analyst from 1998 until moving to the Hong Kong office of Louis Vuitton Pacific in 2002. He moved to Lanvin as International Retail Director in 2007, and then joined Yves Saint Laurent in 2009 as European Retail Director. From 2011 to 2016, he served as Retail and Wholesale Director for the brand, where he developed the business in major markets around the world. Emmanuel Ginzberge will take over from his predecessor, Jonathan Aykroyd, who served as CEO through a tumultuous 12-year period that included the death of Lee Alexander McQueen. He will be responsible for the brand's global expansion and growth.
