Prada's new shoe store opens. To celebrate, limited edition "lip-patterned" pumps and a made-to-order service are available.

May 20, 2016

Prada will open a new shoe store on the fourth floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store on June 10th. To celebrate the opening, the brand will be releasing a limited-time "Mary Jane" pump featuring an archival lip print, which is normally only available through the made-to-order service. Also, to celebrate the opening, a made-to-order pump service will be available for a limited time from June 10th to 21st. The store will offer 17 models, including simple basic pumps, open-toe, platform, slingback, chunky heel, and ribbon pumps. Customers can choose the heel height depending on the style. The store will offer 13 different materials: crocodile, ostrich, python, lizard, ayers, suede, silk satin, Prada's traditional Saffiano patent calf leather, patent leather, metallic leather, goat leather, brushed calf leather, and leopard-print hair calf leather.

A wide range of colors are available, and depending on the material, you can choose a molecule print or a print from Prada's archive collection. The lining of the brushed calfskin and crocodile shoes can also be printed with a rose print. The outsole can be chosen from black, light pink, or blue smooth leather, or black or light pink Saffiano leather. You can also add your own initials below the Prada logo on the outsole.

Please note that delivery times are approximately four months, and approximately five months for precious leather. A 20% surcharge will be applied to the price of ready-made shoes. The same service will also be available at the Prada Kobe store from May 25th to June 5th.
