Novarese, a wedding production and restaurant operator, will host a beer garden at the Himeji Monolith, Former Ministry of Communications Himeji Annex (115 Soja Honmachi, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture), a landmark building in the cityscape of Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, from June 2 to September 11.
During the event, which marks its fifth anniversary this year, the entire site will be open to the public, with the courtyard transformed into a beer garden venue (16 tables, 80 seats), and the building's lounge space transformed into a beer hall venue (20 tables, 80 seats). During the event, the exterior will be illuminated and candles will be lit throughout the building, creating a mystical atmosphere in the classical Western-style building. The atmosphere will be an elegant, adult beer garden, perfect for intoxication.
Food options include 10 types of piping hot homemade bread baked in the on-site workshop, including focaccia, melon bread, and walnut bread, as well as approximately 15 international dishes, primarily spicy dishes that pair perfectly with beer. There is an all-you-can-drink option with 30 drinks, including 20 cocktails using liqueurs such as Cassis and Campari, and 5 soft drinks.
The price is a reasonable 4,000 yen (tax included) per person for a two-hour session, with junior high school students and older paying 2,000 yen (tax included), elementary school students paying 1,500 yen (tax included), and preschoolers free. In addition to the all-you-can-eat menu, the garden space also offers a barbecue set option. Grilled dishes featuring assorted meats such as beef ribs and sausages, along with seasonal vegetables, are available for 1,000 yen (tax included) per plate.
