Christian Louboutin's Beauté line has arrived in Japan. Nail and lip colors will be released on June 1st.
Christian Louboutin's signature red sole was born from the idea of giving back to beauty, as shoes once received from nail polish, after the soles were painted red.
Nail Color Rouge Louboutin (13ml/6,900 yen) is a nail color with a masterfully crafted formula that achieves a dense, rich finish. One coat produces a luxuriously lustrous finish, while two coats produce a finish resembling 20 layers of lacquer. The patent-pending brush features triangular bristles that prevent air bubbles from forming.
The rich glass bottle is inspired by the classical balustrade design seen in European architecture from the 17th and 18th centuries. The cap is inspired by Christian Louboutin's highest heel, the Ballerina Ultima. Ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the hand while allowing for unparalleled control, it's available in three colorways inspired by the shoes and bag. Each pattern features 10 shades: "Noir," a deep color that brings black to life; "Nude," designed to complement all skin tones; and "Pop," a bold and vibrant design. Also available: "Ruby Under Red" (6ml/6,200 yen), which can be applied to the underside of the nail to create a red sole-like design. It's the same iconic red as "Rouge Bleu Teint." The dense felt tip ensures precise application of nail color while remaining flexible. It prevents leaks and allows for effortless creation of your desired designs, even creating intricate motifs like dots. Two "Nail Care Kits" (6ml each, ¥7,400 each) will also be released: "Ruby Primer," which smooths the nail surface and prevents color transfer, and "Ruby Gloss," which adds shine, enhances color, and makes nails look beautiful. The lip color line (¥12,500) features items inspired by ancient Middle Eastern artifacts and the splendid decorations of Art Deco. Three textures are available: Silky Satin, featuring a smooth texture and deep, rich color in 20 shades; Velvet Matte, offering high-color payoff with a suede-like finish and moisturized lips in 9 shades; and Sheer Voile, offering a lustrous, glossy finish in 9 shades. The body of the Rouge Blue Teal lipstick is designed separately from the other colors. Rouge Blue Teal's lipstick features a jet-black body that exudes a dignified, elixir-like quality. It features a silver and gold crown-shaped cap and is housed in a glossy outer box with a red line reminiscent of a jewelry box. It is sold with a silk pouch for carrying. Also available is the Lip Definer (5,500 yen) in five colors, which blends in with all lip colors by shaping the lip line and matching it to the natural skin tone of the lips. It comes with a self-sharpener that allows you to accurately shape the lips without smudging, and the color lasts for over six hours without transferring. The Lip Definer alone will also give you plump, natural-looking lips.
