Margaret Howell has unveiled the looks for its 2016-17 Fall/Winter women's collection.
The 2016-17 Fall/Winter women's collection proposes a fresh style with new materials, colors, and straight silhouettes. Based on camel and black colors, the collection is made using materials such as Harris Tweed, the brand's iconic material, as well as milled coating, blackwatch, and felted wool jersey.
The "SHEEPSKIN DUFFLE" (450,000 yen) is a signature item this season, a new design of the sheepskin coat that has been available for several seasons. The classic argyle knit "ARGYLE KNIT" (95,000 yen) was created with careful attention to the sleeve length, silhouette, and details. Other pieces include the "HIGHLAND JACKET" (camel/72,000 yen, black, charcoal/68,000 yen), which proposes a mannish style using two different materials, and the "COTTON SILK POPLIN" (dress/85,000 yen, skirt/48,000 yen), a circular skirt made of delicate cotton silk with a fresh, paper-like design featuring pin tucks.
A wide range of accessories will also be available, from velvet pumps and leather bags to silk scarves and bow ties. The key to this season's collection is the exquisite balance of styling, such as adding a touch of femininity to a mannish style.
