To celebrate the 120th anniversary of its casual line, Reebok Classic, the brand is reissuing its classic running shoe, the Aztec, as the "Aztec OG" (¥14,000). The limited-edition release will begin on August 22nd. The Aztec, which earned the top five-star rating from the American running magazine Runner's World in 1978, is a popular running shoe thanks to its superior cushioning and dual-density midsole. The design, materials, and color of this reissue faithfully reproduce the original model. The shoebox, featuring the Union Jack, also features the same design. Other touches include the vintage craft paper used to wrap the shoes and a leaflet detailing the brand's history. The shoes are available only in the UK, the US, Russia, South Korea, and Japan. A worldwide limited edition of 1,895 pairs will be released, in honor of the brand's founding year, 1895. In Japan, the brand is available at the Reebok Online Shop, Reebok Classic Store Harajuku, Atmos Main Store, Beams, Beams Boy, Head Porter, BILLY'S ENT Shibuya Store, Journal Standard, Kicks Lab, Mita Sneakers, Styles, Undefeated Tokyo, United Arrows, UPTOWN Deluxe, and X-girl Harajuku.
