
Converse Tokyo, a new brand from the century-old Converse brand, will open its first concept store on September 5th in Aoyama, Tokyo (1F FROM-1st, 5-3-10 Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo). Converse Tokyo will debut with the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection. Based on a basic and creative lifestyle theme that combines history and modernity, the store will offer items incorporating Tokyo's unique culture and fashion, as well as Japan's unique techniques. The store will also feature a capsule collection that will create new value, centered around Tokyo's leading designers and creators. The newly opened store will offer a wide selection of fashion items, including the brand's iconic shoes, bags, accessories, stationery, and more. Items include Japan-made denim and cut-and-sew items, as well as Converse Tokyo-exclusive shoes and collaboration items. To commemorate the opening, customers who spend over 10,000 yen (tax included) at the store will receive a free bandana with an original print.
The lookbook was also directed by stylist Tsuyoshi Noguchi. The models include famous people representing "TOKYO", including Kiko Mizuhara, Yui Sakuma, Eimi Kuroda, Shuntaro Yanagi, Yusuke Oshiba, Angela, and Seiya.
