A large dress using 1,400 Swarovski crystals is on display at the Hankyu Umeda Autumn Window

Aug 23, 2015

A gorgeous floral artwork by artist Zoe Bradley is on display in the first-floor concourse window of Hankyu Umeda Main Store until September 14th.

Based on the store concept of a "theatrical department store," the concourse window on the first floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store expresses Japanese customs and the arrival of the seasons through art. In this exhibition, which anticipates autumn, artist Zoe Bradley has expressed the fashion theme of "gorgeous" through paper sculptures.

A total of seven windows display a variety of gorgeous works, including vibrant flowers, a bright red ruffle dress, and a butterfly headpiece. One particularly noteworthy piece is a large dress with Swarovski crystals adorning the center of each flower. Approximately 1,400 Swarovski crystals are used to create an even more sparkling and glamorous dress.
