Oct 6, 2016

Faro Shiseido, an Italian restaurant operated by Shiseido Parlour, is offering a course meal called "Porcini Fair" (16,000 yen *tax and service charge not included) until October 15th.

Faro Shiseido, which has received a star in the Michelin Guide Tokyo for eight consecutive years, is now offering a course meal featuring fresh porcini mushrooms from Italy. Porcini mushrooms, one of the world's three great mushrooms alongside truffles and matsutake, are known as the "king of mushrooms" for their delicious taste, aroma, and texture, and this time they will be offering a variety of dishes using seasonal porcini mushrooms. The course menu includes "Roast Lamb and Porcini Mushroom Polpetta with Porcini Mushroom Sauce and Rosemary Flavor," as well as "Fried Porcini Mushrooms and Zucchini Flowers with Basil Puree," "Porcini Mushroom and Celery Root Salad with Beetroot Soup," "Homemade Fettuccine with Porcini Mushrooms and Fresh Tomato Sauce," and "Parmesan Cheese Risotto with Grilled Porcini Mushrooms." There is also a "Wine Course (5 Types)" (12,000 yen *tax and service charge not included) available, allowing you to pair your meal with wine.
