On November 11th, LACOSTE will release its "HOLIDAY COLLECTOR 2016," a collaboration with graphic artist Jean-Paul Goude, known as a "unique image maker." Jean-Paul Goude designed everything for the collection, from the logos on polo shirts, bomber jackets, bags, and clutches to the special Christmas packaging and advertising visuals. Each item features Lacoste's "crocodile" motif as seen through Goude's eyes. Embroidered on each piece is a crocodile straight out of Goude's fantasy world, depicting his childhood visions of Africa, his passion for dance, his love of Bauhaus, and the parade of two lizard-like creatures dressed in formal attire. The polo shirts are made of heavy cotton piqué fabric and are available in five colors: white, navy, heather gray, green, and red. Short-sleeved and long-sleeved versions are available for both men and women. Crafted from a thick cotton piqué material, the jacket combines elements of bomber jackets and sukajan jackets, featuring a collar inspired by polo shirts. A reworked crocodile design is embroidered on the back, and the navy colorway will be available exclusively in Japan. A navy tote bag and clutch bag featuring two graphics symbolizing the collaboration will also be available.
