White Mountaineering flagship store relocates and opens in Daikanyama

May 7, 2014

White Mountaineering has relocated and opened its flagship store in Daikanyama. It's located at 2-7 Sarugakucho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, on the first floor of the brand's atelier. The store is approximately 66 square meters. Like the Omotesando store, the design was handled by Kazuya Sasaki of SMALL CLONE. The wood-tone interior features a bar-inspired counter in the center. The sophisticated space is enhanced by a combination of stainless steel racks and concrete walls. The store carries both men's and women's collections, launched this spring. In addition to the new "VOYAGER"-themed 14SS collection, the store also features a collaboration sandal (¥10,000) with outdoor brand Teva and a limited edition botanical-patterned T-shirt (¥5,500), both of which were released to commemorate the store's opening. Both items are available in both men's and women's sizes.
