Louis Vuitton will open a limited-time men's store, "Temporary Residency," on the second floor of the Louis Vuitton Shibuya Men's Store on July 5th.

"Temporary Residency" is part of the global men's fashion event series "Louis Vuitton: Walk in the Park." Following events at Pont Neuf (Paris) and Soho (New York), this is the first time it has been held in Japan. This unique space allows visitors to experience the House's icons up close and feel the process of their creative evolution. It is an opportunity to delve deeper into the existing concepts and icons conceived for the House by Louis Vuitton Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh. Rooted in the inclusive values at the heart of Virgil Abloh's work, it embodies the interconnectedness between him and his community.

"Temporary Residency" will open at the Louis Vuitton Shibuya Men's Store, the House's first men's flagship store. The space is unified in rainbow colors, reminiscent of the set for Virgil Abloh's debut Spring/Summer 2019 collection as Louis Vuitton Men's Artistic Director. Playful design elements, such as a wall design resembling stacked Louis Vuitton shoe packaging and a large LV signature in striking rainbow neon colors, fully express Virgil Abloh's vision for Louis Vuitton Men's. The exhibit will focus on Louis Vuitton men's sneakers created under Virgil Abloh's artistic direction. Among them, the "LV Trainer Line Sneaker," his trademark, first released in the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, will also feature a selection of seasonal editions featuring different materials and colors. In addition to the "Temporary Residency" limited edition, a number of limited-edition items will be available, including a Japan-only version of the "LV Trainer Upcycling," which reflects the concept of upcycling, and pre-release items from the recently announced Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
