Merlette 21FW Collection
The FW21 collection is inspired by the activities of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, a time when women's clothing underwent a revolutionary change after the Victorian era, when corsets were worn.
The collection includes items influenced by the loose, draped dresses and style worn by Jane Morris, who is said to be the muse of this era.
The collection takes inspiration from the embroidery on evening bags designed by Jane, who was also an embroiderer, and the stache embroidery on quilts used by Jane's husband, textile designer William Morris.
The marigold flower print that stands out this season was designed by London-based artist Pedro Garcia.
