adidas Originals will release 15 new models of its NMD sneaker line on August 18th. The NMD series combines adidas Originals' traditional archives with cutting-edge technologies like BOOST. The NMD_R1, which retains the same silhouette as the first model released in December 2015 and achieved rave reviews, will be available in 12 models featuring new materials and colors. Three new NMD_XR1 silhouettes and a women's model will also be added to the lineup, bringing the total to 15 NMD models. The new NMD_XR1 models build on the design aesthetic of the NMD series while faithfully and meticulously updating the series' original design. They feature a two-tone micro-rib knit upper accented by tonal overlays. The heel patch is crafted from premium nubuck leather.

The "NMD_R1 REFLECTIVE PACK" has been released, a bold update to the "NMD_R1" with a unique twist. The upper is made of a special stretchy mesh material with a reflective finish that stands out even in the dark. All parts, including the three stripes, TPU heel unit, white and black heel tab, and BOOST midsole, are finished in a completely tonal style. Other "NMD_R1" models will also be available in new materials and color variations.

These shoes will be available primarily at the adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo, adidas Originals shops nationwide, adidas Brand Core Stores nationwide, and the adidas online shop (release begins at 10:00 AM).
