Starting with Dover Street Market Ginza, which opens on September 9th, Mulberry will open three pop-up shops selling the 2016 Fall/Winter collection, the first collection by new creative director Johnny Coca, who made his London debut in February.
The 2016 Fall/Winter collection features a stunningly vibrant new rose print inspired by Shakespeare's works, as well as fabrics and tailoring that symbolize classic Britain, reinterpreted by Johnny Coca. The pop-up shops will have a space where customers can experience the new world of Mulberry, and will also stock ready-to-wear and accessories from the 2016 Fall/Winter collection.
Bags will include the new signature bag "Maple" created by Johnny Coca, as well as "Camden" and "Bayswater" bags with zipper and stud details, and "Chester" bags, which were featured in the Fall/Winter 2016 advertising campaign.
The pop-up shops will be open from September 9th to 22nd at the event space on the first floor of Dover Street Market Ginza, from October 12th to 18th at Promotion Space 31 on the third floor of Hankyu Umeda, and from November 2nd to 8th at West Park/Promotion on the third floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.
The Fall/Winter 2016 advertising campaign, photographed by Coco Capitón, features twin models Odette Pavloa and Lia Pavloa. Drawing inspiration from "twins" and "shadows," the campaign expresses the dual nature of the Mulberry woman: strong and alluring, yet soft and feminine.
