chloma has launched a special website for its 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection in conjunction with its exhibition. The theme for the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection is "Test Subject." Inspired by images of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake he saw online, the collection features disaster-themed prints and motifs such as first aid and patient clothing. The website features an unusual interface: scrolling up and down on the mouse's scroll wheel changes the viewer's look, just like a stage curtain opening and closing. "I want the brand to be recognized as being present online," said designer Junya Suzuki. "My favorite website is Tumblr. I think it offers an easy-to-use interface for creators. I want to create fashion images that will get 20,000 reblogs." Chroma is a unisex brand created by Suzuki and pattern designer Reiko Sakuma. It began in 2008 as "Junya Suzuki." It changed its name to Chroma for the 2011-12 Autumn/Winter season. They create clothes inspired by otaku culture such as anime and the internet.
