Ginza Mitsukoshi has debuted a new Kabukiza-themed shawl. This truly "Made in Tokyo" shawl, a collaboration between Marumasu Dyeing, headquartered in Katsushika Shibamata, Tokyo, and Shochiku, a long-established company founded over 100 years ago, is garnering attention as a new Ginza souvenir. The shawl is available in two designs, each in three colors, featuring a photograph of the first Kabukiza and architectural drawings of the current fifth Kabukiza. The lightweight material makes it versatile for travel and meets the needs of overseas customers. The same department also collaborated with Nakayama Michiko to develop exclusive items for Ginza Mitsukoshi. The shawl features butterfly and cherry prints from the MUVEIL archives, as well as a wide-brimmed fedora, a trendy item this season.
Furthermore, items with a "lace" theme include hats designed for this remodel by two Japanese hat designers, Misa Harada's "Misa Harada" and Mariko Taniguchi's "Modist." Stoles from Phil Daniele and the MM Collection are also on offer.
