Louis Vuitton Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh's second collaboration with the National Basketball Association (NBA) "LV x NBA" will be available at select Louis Vuitton stores and on the official website from May 28th. Appearing as part of the Fall/Winter 2021 Men's Pre-Collection, "LV x NBA" expands Louis Vuitton's existing collaboration with the National Basketball Association (NBA). This second season, which deepens the relationship between the Maison and the professional basketball league, traces the collective memories that represent each culture, centering on the basketball craze of the 1990s. Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh celebrates the intersection of pop culture, fashion, and sports, fusing Louis Vuitton and the NBA's trademarks. The collection celebrates the NBA's unifying moments and diverse personalities, embodying the values of intimacy and relatability that are key to Virgil Abloh's design work. Some of the items featured were created in collaboration with designer Don Crowley, known as an expert in fusing design and sports. In addition to blousons, shorts, and the Keepall bag featuring the NBA logo, the collection also features the collection's iconic basketball and goal ring objects.
