Filming wrapped up in August for the short film "High Heels," starring Kikuchi Rinko as an android shoemaker. Post-production is currently underway for a domestic release in 2016. The film is directed by Lee In-chul, a young filmmaker based in Japan. Kikuchi's character, the genderless android shoemaker Kay, wears costumes by CHANEL, further enhancing Kai's beauty, mystery, and elegance. The high heels, a key item in the film, were also produced with the cooperation of Mihara Yasuhiro. The supporting cast includes Kojima Fujiko, currently appearing in the NHK Taiga drama "Hana Moyu," Genri, who starred in the film "Listen to the Voice of Water," and Taniguchi Ran, who has appeared in commercials for Glico and Menicon. The film's staff includes a lineup of leading figures from Japan and abroad, including cinematographer Ishizaka Takuro, who worked on the "Rurouni Kenshin" trilogy, editor Ueno Soichi, winner of eight Japan Academy Awards for Best Editing, and special effects artist Hyakutake Tomoo, who has worked on "Attack on Titan" and "Parasyte."

The story begins when a customer comes to Kai, a shoemaker who is dedicated to making shoes, to have a pair of shoes made to his liking. Kai remakes the shoes over and over again until he finally completes the perfect pair, but when the customer tries them on, one of the shoes is just a little off. Kai convinces the customer that he will definitely find a solution, and they once again face the high heels.

The film is scheduled to have its world premiere in 2016.
