Blue Bottle Coffee will open "Blue Bottle Coffee Roppongi Cafe (tentative name)" in the second half of 2016 in the TRI-SEVEN ROPPONGI office building (7-7-7 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo). The cafe will be located directly across from Tokyo Midtown, in a new facility scheduled for completion at the end of March 2016. The cafe will serve carefully brewed coffee, one cup at a time, using beans roasted at the roastery in Kiyosumi Shirakawa Roastery & Cafe. The 138.91-square-meter store is filled with greenery and light, allowing busy businesspeople to enjoy their coffee while savoring the changing seasons. Founded by James Freeman in 2002, Blue Bottle Coffee currently operates 22 locations in four metropolitan areas: San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. This will be its third location in Tokyo, following Kiyosumi Shirakawa and Aoyama.
