The trophy travel case was handcrafted by artisans in Louis Vuitton's historic atelier in Asnières, a suburb of Paris. The case's design, inspired by the traditions of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, which is celebrating its 78th anniversary this year, is infused with the Maison's traditional know-how. The iconic Monogram canvas is adorned in the vibrant red of the Monegasque flag, with the red "V" for "Victory" outlined in white, evoking the unique street circuit where exceptional driving skills are showcased, combining supreme power and precision. A specially commissioned travel case, decorated in the Principality's colors, holds a trophy depicting the Grand Prix's 3.337-kilometer course, complete with 19 tight corners. This first-of-its-kind collaboration between Louis Vuitton, an iconic French brand, and the organizers of the legendary Monaco Grand Prix, the oldest Formula 1 race, is built on shared values of tradition, heritage, and excellence. Organized by the Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM) and under the patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, Head of State of Monaco, the Monaco Grand Prix is one of the world's most popular and fascinating events. The trophy will be presented to the winner of the prestigious Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, to be held on May 23, 2021.
