THREE, a cosmetics brand committed to using the power of plants and domestically sourced ingredients, will be releasing a new supplement series, "Japanese Superfood," in limited quantities starting in July. The brand's new inner care series, "Japanese Superfood," was developed primarily with extracts from domestically grown plants. Limited-edition supplements tailored to the changing physical conditions and beauty needs of each season will be available in July, September, and December. THREE Rhythm Resonance Nankobai & Seed Oil (180 soft capsules, ¥6,000), released on July 8, is a supplement made with plum extract from "Nanko Ume" plums from Kishu, synonymous with high-quality pickled plums. Plum extract is rich in organic acids such as citric acid and minerals, and also contains mumefural, a beneficial ingredient not found in pickled plums, making it the perfect food for beating the summer heat. The supplement is made using linseed oil, olive oil, and other ingredients in addition to the precious plum extract, which is made by slowly simmering only the juice of unripe plums without the use of any salt - only 20g can be obtained from 1kg of unripe plums.
Following "THREE Rhythm Resonance Nankobai & Seed Oil," "THREE Rhythm Beauty Alpinia zerumbet & Seed Oil," which uses shell ginger, a plant that has supported Okinawa's health culture, will be released in September, and "THREE Rhythm Serenity Rose & Seed Oil," which uses roses, a symbol of anti-aging care, will be released in December.
