On June 25th, adidas Originals held an event to unveil the four new models in its "Tubular" footwear series, which will be released for the Spring/Summer 2016 season. The "Tubular" series features an advanced silhouette inspired by '90s running technology. The four models featured in the Spring/Summer 2016 season—"Nova," "Doom," "X," and the women's "Defiant"—align with adidas Originals' modern approach to urban sportswear. The event took place in a uniquely atmospheric underground venue. Amidst intricate lighting and music by Paris-based sound engineer Michel Gaubert, a group of local performers in "Tubular" shoes danced freely across obstacles set up in the grounds, perfectly showcasing the lightweight and agile nature of the "Tubular."
