Slow fast food restaurant "Table OGINO" pate & sausage [Today's Omiya]

As a special edition of "Today's Item," a daily series showcasing recommended products from our editorial team, we're introducing "Tokyo souvenirs" selected by fashion and beauty industry insiders, running until July 31st. This is the season when many people bring gifts for seasonal greetings or when returning home. If you're having trouble deciding what to bring, check out this list of top picks from connoisseurs.

Today's recommendation is the pâté and sausages from Table OGINO, a delicatessen in Daikanyama, Tokyo, recommended by Mieko Kobayashi, Chief Communications Officer at Pred PR, which handles international fashion houses' attachés de presses.

Run by the French restaurant OGINO in Ikejiri-Ohashi, Table OGINO is a shop based on the concept of "slow fast food," offering prepared dishes made with seasonal vegetables, processed meats delivered directly from OGINO, and baked goods. Table OGINO takes pride in its signature pâté and sausages, which are free of artificial seasonings and are handled entirely by the restaurant staff, from cutting the meat to packaging. While this process is time-consuming and the meat only lasts for a short time, many fans return in search of safe ingredients. "People love it when I bring it to a home party," says Kobayashi. The vacuum-packed pâtés, terrines, and sausages displayed in the display case are available for takeaway in gift boxes. The lineup changes depending on the ingredients available, but the three items we selected this time were "Hiroshima Organic Lemon and Green Olive Sausage," "Lamb and Grilled Eggplant Ethnic Terrine," and "Pork Rillette." The sausages have a shelf life of one week, while the terrines and pâtés have a shelf life of one to two days.

There is also an eat-in space on the second floor of the store where they serve French toast, sausage and egg plates, sandwiches, and baked goods for breakfast from 10am, plate menus and bento boxes with drink sets from 11am, and appetizers and main courses from the dinner menu from 5pm.

In addition to the Daikanyama main store, they have several other stores in Tokyo, including the ecute Shinagawa store, Tokyu Department Store Shibuya Station Toyoko store, Shonan T-SITE store, and Futako Tamagawa Rise store.
